Another trip, a cabin is booked!

Its the day before Valentine's Day and subsequently our anniversary. 11 years together and many projects and travels together, and I could not be more blessed. This year we will celebrate Valentines Day/Anniversary together at our home in Texas fishing on Lake Palestine. Thursday morning however, Brian and his friend Jeff will be heading to the Ridge with our tractor, heat and a/c for the Outhouse tavern, new electric, and plumbing supplies. Their goal for the 4 days is to get the Outhouse wired up for the bar signs, sink, and have a running unit with hot and cold air. They are good, so I bet they will get it done. Deanna, the property manager on site has painted the walls in preparation for their arrival. She also has a special task of creating a special Valentine package for our very first booked guest! We have booked guests for Spring and summer already, but this is the first guest stay since we purchased the property about 5 months ago. This has been a fast turn around and there is no way we could have accomplished it without the help of dear friends. It makes me nervous because I am not there for all the details, but I am confident that they will have a great time! The cabin is so beautiful, and the property is amazing, but it could always be better! I want to have guests return time after time. In my past vacation rentals, I was there to oversee every detail and I am missing that. I look forward to their feedback and especially hope they will love the Ridge and all that it is and will become.
