Is it weird to rent a place where there is a property manager onsite?

I had a guest rent all three cabins for her family a couple of weeks ago. They all took full advantage of everything The Ridge has to offer. It was refreshing to see the whole family fishing, swimming, eating, and playing games together. We talked a few times throughout the week, and she said her friend really loved the place but asked her, " isn't it weird to have someone on the property there with you?" She told her no, but it did make me think about that question.
The Ridge is a six-acre property that sits above the White River. It has a creek fed lake that waterfalls into the river. When it rains the lake and river rise to sometimes scary levels! There is a pool, a pavilion with four restroom/shower combos, a lounge with a vintage pinball machine, not to mention the three awesome cabins that have people checking in and out at all times. The lawn is manicured with gorgeous flower beds, the pool is tested regularly and cleaned two times a day to ensure perfect cleanliness, the pavilion bathrooms are cleaned daily, not to mention the weed eating, watering, picking up kindling for fire enjoyment in the outdoor fireplace plus emptying the four other fire pits as well. We have a store with merchandise and snacks and items that may have been forgotten. There is constant laundering of linens and towels, trash to be brought to the end of the driveway, maintenance chores, repairs call ins, supplies purchased, new items ordered for cabin improvements, and the list goes on for the property manager. I am here to make your experience of the Ozarks better. The property manager stays busy tending to the needs of the property and will make themselves available when a guest needs something.
If The Ridge was a single home property with none of the amenities and common areas, I could definitely agree it would be weird. This is a different kind of property. This property is magical for guests when they arrive until they leave. It would be weird to enter this property with grass grown so high you are scared to walk it, a pool with debris, dirty bathrooms, and no one there to help you if something goes wrong. The Ridge is a resort with amenities for guests that have to be tended to. An onsite property manager is a must, nothing weird about it.
